1. Accepted Payment Method

At this time, PayPal is the only payment method available at Modernacloth. Customers will be directed to PayPal during checkout to authorize and complete payment for their order.

2. How PayPal Checkout Works

When you place an order with Modernacloth, you will be directed through the PayPal checkout process to review and authorize your payment.

After successful payment authorization, you will be returned to the Modernacloth website or shown an order confirmation. Your order is considered successfully placed once payment has been confirmed and the order has been accepted for processing.

3. Payment Information

The payment information required during checkout is handled through the PayPal payment process. You should provide accurate information and follow the instructions displayed by PayPal when completing your transaction.

• Use an active PayPal account when required by the checkout process.
• Make sure your PayPal account has an available payment source.
• Confirm that the billing and payment information shown during checkout is accurate.
• Review the final order amount before authorizing payment.
• Do not share your PayPal password or security credentials with Modernacloth support.

4. Payment Authorization

A payment may require authorization or verification by PayPal before an order can be completed. Modernacloth does not control PayPal's authorization process or determine whether a particular payment is approved.

If PayPal declines, limits, or otherwise prevents a transaction from being completed, you may need to review your PayPal account or contact PayPal directly for assistance.

5. Order Total

The total amount shown at checkout may include the price of the products in your order and applicable shipping charges.

Always review the final amount presented during checkout before authorizing your payment.

6. Payment Confirmation

After completing payment, you should receive an order confirmation using the contact information provided during checkout.

If you do not receive an order confirmation, first check your email's spam, junk, or promotional folders. You may also contact Modernacloth support so we can help verify the status of your order.

Please keep your order confirmation available for future questions regarding shipping, returns, refunds, cancellations, or other order-related matters.

7. Payment Issues

If your payment does not go through, the issue may be related to your PayPal account, selected funding source, authorization requirements, account restrictions, or other payment-provider controls.

If you experience a payment error, you may try the following:

• Confirm that your PayPal account is active and accessible.
• Check that your selected funding source is available.
• Review any notification or verification request displayed by PayPal.
• Restart the checkout process if the payment session has expired.
• Contact PayPal if the issue appears to be related to your PayPal account.

If payment has been completed but your Modernacloth order confirmation is missing, contact us with the relevant order information so we can review the situation.

8. Duplicate Payments

If you believe you have been charged more than once for the same Modernacloth order, please contact us as soon as possible.

We will review the available order information and determine whether multiple transactions were successfully completed or whether one of the transactions is only a temporary authorization or pending payment.

Because PayPal processes the payment transaction, the final status of a payment may also need to be confirmed through your PayPal account or PayPal support.

9. Refunds to PayPal

When a refund is approved under the Modernacloth Return & Refund Policy or when an eligible order is successfully cancelled, the refund will be issued through the original payment transaction whenever applicable.

Modernacloth processes eligible refunds within up to 12 days. Once the refund has been processed, the time required for the funds to appear in your PayPal account may depend on PayPal and the applicable financial institution.

10. Payment Security

Modernacloth takes reasonable steps to maintain a secure online shopping experience. Payment transactions are processed through PayPal's payment environment rather than requiring customers to provide their PayPal password directly to Modernacloth.

For your protection, Modernacloth will never ask you to send your PayPal password, security code, or account login credentials by email.

• Keep your PayPal login credentials private.
• Do not send passwords or security codes by email.
• Review payment details before approving a transaction.
• Contact PayPal directly if you suspect unauthorized activity on your PayPal account.

11. Currency and Payment Display

Product prices and order amounts are displayed during the Modernacloth checkout process. The final payment amount presented through PayPal should be reviewed before you authorize the transaction.

If PayPal applies any currency conversion or exchange rate when processing your transaction, the applicable conversion rate and related terms are determined by PayPal and may differ from rates shown by other financial institutions.

12. Payment and Order Processing

Successful payment does not necessarily mean that an order has already shipped. After payment is confirmed, Modernacloth prepares the order for fulfillment according to our applicable processing and shipping procedures.

Orders generally require 1 business day for handling before entering transit. Standard transit time is estimated at 2–6 business days after processing.

Once an order has entered fulfillment, cancellation or order changes may no longer be possible. Customers who need to make a change should contact Modernacloth as soon as possible after placing the order.
